Some properties have sections that just get away from you. Dense brush piles up, unwanted trees crowd out the good ones, and before long you've got a tangled mess that's tough to even walk through. That's exactly what we were dealing with here - thick understory growth choking out the mature trees and eating into usable land.
We came in with the forestry mulcher and got to work. The mulcher grinds everything down - trees, brush, stumps - and leaves a clean layer of wood chips right on the ground. No hauling, no burning, no piles of debris sitting around for weeks. It's one of the most efficient ways to clear land, and the results speak for themselves.
We also pulled out a few trees that had no business being there. Getting rid of the junk trees is just as important as clearing the brush - it opens up the canopy, gives the good trees room to breathe, and sets the area up so new growth actually has a chance. That's the whole point of this kind of work. You're not just cleaning up what's there now, you're setting the land up for what comes next.
What's left after a job like this is clean ground between mature trees, with a natural wood chip layer that breaks down over time and feeds the soil. The area goes from being a wall of brush you'd never walk into, to open, usable space with a clear floor and good trees standing tall. That's a difference you can actually use.
